The main hypothesis underlying the present study states that EFL teachers, with a special focus on EFL teachers practicing in Moroccan high schools, can have a positive effect on their students' achievement when they use instructional methods, techniques and activities that render their students' learning meaningful and enjoyable and, therefore, their learning outcomes increase. This research makes use of a mixed-method approach by adopting the use of classroom observation and the questionnaire as the main data collection instruments. The data is analyzed in the light of the research questions stated in the methodology chapter.
