Paperback, [PU: LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing], Pumping power dissipation during the transportation of liquids in strategic pipelines, was and still one of the most power consuming sectors in the industry due to the turbulent mode these liquids are transported with. The addition of minute quantities of polymeric additives to the liquids flowing in the pipe helped in improving the flow, but it also changes the apparent physical properties of the transported liquid. The solubility of any material in the transported media was a concrete condition to introduce it as drag reducing agent. In the present Book, insoluble drag reducing agents are introduced. Those agents are driven from agricultural and industrial wastes. The experimental results did prove the high abilities of these new flow improvers to act as a powerful drag reducing agents despite the type of the transported liquid., Technology: General Issues<
