The kwandhula ceremony as part of culture has not been spared from evolution as due to external influences. This book presents the kwandhula process and shows how it has changed over time. It takes readers through the process showing the main actors are during the kwandhula ceremony. The methodology is unstructured, qualitative and this is an insider's insight of what occurs during an introduction or marriage ceremony among the said societies. It is a narrative and interpretative discussion of this institution which has a lot of bearing on family and kinship life of the said societies.
